Praise be to God, who created the light of His Prophet before all the beginnings, then created from it everything from the highest and the lowest, then deposited it in the good and majestic loins, and raised it in the wombs... As for what follows, it says... Hussein bin Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Al-Diyar Bakri, may God forgive him and his parents... This is a collection of the biographies of the Master of the Messengers and the eminences of the Seal of the Prophets... — The book is completed. Its author said: This is the last thing I have been able to compile this book with the help of God, King Wahhab... and he has finished editing it. This poor copy is due to the generosity of his powerful Lord, Abdullah bin Taher bin Imad Al-Din Al-Harawi... God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
