Book Four: Intention and Sincerity Omar said, “I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, ‘Actions are by intentions,’ and in one narration, by intention, and for each person is but what he intended. Whoever emigrated to God and His Messenger, his migration was to God and His Messenger, and whoever emigrated was to achieve this worldly life and a woman to marry, his migration was to what he emigrated to.” The group included it... —... Ibn Amr bin Al-Aas said, “I heard the Messenger of God... saying when We went out with him to Taif, and we passed a grave, and the Messenger of God said... This is the grave of Abu Raghal... The narration of that is that a branch of gold was buried with him. If you dig it up, you will hit it, so the people hastened and extracted the branch... It was the last words of the Messenger of God... Fear God as long as your faith possesses... It was completed. It was completed.
