You and those who follow you will be the victors, and since evil deception only befalls its people, God Almighty said, “And it befalls those who do it.” That is, He descended, encircling the family of Pharaoh, that is, Pharaoh and his followers, because of their insistence on disbelief and their deception. This is if we say that the family is shared between the person and his followers, and if we do not say that, then joining Pharaoh is more likely, because the custom has been that it does not reach all of a person’s followers... — ...and what Al-Baydawi narrated, following Al-Zamakhshari, that he prayed. May God bless him and grant him peace. He said, “Whoever recites Surat Al-Tur, it is God’s duty to protect him from his torment and to bless him in His Paradise.” A fabricated hadith...
