Al-Harith bin Hisham bin Al-Mughirah bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Makhzum Al-Qurashi Al-Makhzoumi Al-Qurashi, nicknamed Abu Abdul Rahman, and his mother Umm Al-Jallas Asma bint Mukhrabah bin Jandal bin Abin bin Nahshal bin Dharm.
