Basmalah. Praise be to God and peace be upon His servants whom He has chosen. This is a summary of the science of jurisprudence that I collected for some of my brothers in religion as much as he had time, and I limited it to ten books that are the most important books of jurisprudence and the most deserving of consideration, namely the book of purifications, prayer, zakat, fasting, Hajj, and jihad... along with sacrifices, hatred, obligatory duties, and books with etiquette... — ... and piety is avoiding what is forbidden, and it is the commandment of God Almighty for all nations... God Almighty said: We have enjoined upon those who were given the Book before you, and to you, to fear God, so you, brother, must be pious and prepare to meet God Almighty, the Almighty, and the bliss of the Hereafter will be complete...
