Basmalah. Chapter: How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the saying of God, Blessed and Most High: {Indeed, we have revealed to you just as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him}, Al-Humaidi told us on the authority of Sufyan... — ...and he said: O Umm Salamah, do not harm me regarding Aisha, for by God, the revelation has not descended upon me while I was under the quilt of a woman other than you. And God Almighty knows best.
