Surah Al-An'am is a chapter on its revelation. Mujahid narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that Al-An'am was not revealed in Mecca, and this is the saying of Al-Hasan, Qatada, and Jabir Ibn Zaid.... - The hadith was narrated on the authority of a group of great figures, such as Ibn Al-Mubarak, Ibn Uyaynah, Waki' and others.
