Praise be to God, the Lord of lords and the Creator of the clouds... And then this is a book in which the observer deals with, between seriousness and jest, gentleness and magnificence, what the divine wisdom and divine power have revealed of the wonders of creatures and the strangeness of existences, in addition to that from the news of the hadiths of past nations... - A book was completed at the hand of the servant... Ahmad bin Al-Yusr bin Abi Jabir Al-Qudsi... on Friday, the fifteenth of Rabi’ al-Akhir of the months of the year nine hundred and fifty-four, and praise be to God alone... There is no power nor strength in God, the Most High, the Great, Amen.
