Notes A copy with the first part missing by a page, clearly written in black ink, the text annotated in red, with appendices. The copy is affected by extreme humidity and wetness and has been restored. The book is attributed to Radi al-Din bin Abdul Rahman bin Ahmad Ibn Hajar al-Haytami (d. 1041 AH), as stated in Idḥāḥ al-Maknoon (4/171) and Mu’jam al-Muthānūn: (4/166). It was published in the past and in modern times and is attributed to Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami (d. 974 AH).
Sample Text By lengthening and prolonging it because of the wonderful benefits and secrets it contains, and by my life, many of its hadiths could take volumes, and because the length is boring and the brevity is more than what follows... to state its rules in a comprehensive manner in most of them, otherwise its detail requires lengthening... and I called it Al-Fath Al-Mubin li Sharh Al-Arba’in. The second is an encouragement to supplicate, hope, and seek forgiveness for sin and to seek the mercy of the Knower of the Unseen. We ask God who is gracious in His grace to have mercy on us... Praise be to God who has guided us to this... Their supplication in it is, Glory be to You, O God, and their greeting in it is peace, and their last supplication is that Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... Its author said... Shihab al-Din Ahmad bin Hajar al-Haytami... Jumada al-Thani began in it... the third of Rajab, the twentieth of the year 1156 AH.. At the hands of its writer... Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Mudha... it was completed.
