The eminent Sheikh, the scholar, said... the sun of the faith and religion, and the good Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Al-Jazari Al-Shafi’i... Praise be to God for the invention of facilitation, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, the Just Judge, the All-Hearing... And after: So when the book of facilitation was for the imam, the scholar... -... then know that it will guide you to the path of truth and the right approach, and by God success, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds first and last, and may blessings and peace be upon his Prophet Muhammad and his family. And all his companions. The book was completed with the help and success of God Almighty at the hands of the poor man, to the blessings of his living, all-powerful Lord, Hassan bin Sulaiman bin Sadiq Al-Hafiz Al-Khatib... in the year 1136.
