An old, damaged copy, written in black ink, with some corrections and comments. It was damaged by moisture, especially the first sheet, which was severely damp. It had repairs, obliteration in some places, and blackening due to ink.

Al-Basmalah, Abu Yusuf Al-Isbahani told us... He said, Abu Ubaidah Muammar bin Al-Muthanna Al-Taymi told us... He said that the Arabs in pre-Islamic times did not protect any of their wealth and did not honor him by maintaining and honoring their horses... -...so he is cloaked and cannot be removed. The Book of Horses was completed, written by Abu Ubaidah Muammar bin Al-Muthanna Al-Taymi... and it was delivered with due respect.
