His saying, Surah Al-Fath, In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, (the basmalah) was dropped for anyone other than Abu Dharr. His saying and Mujahid Bora said: They will perish. Al-Tabari connected it via Ibn Abi Najih on the authority of Mujahid with this and it was dropped for someone other than Abu Dharr. Abu Ubaidah said: And it is said that he was righteous of food, meaning he perished... The creation and other things and little things, and I have explained each one in its place, and praise be to God.
