The science of morphology and the first to write down the science of morphology was Abu Uthman Bakr bin Habib Al-Mazni, and before that he was included in the science of grammar, and he was Bakr bin Muhammad bin Baqiyya, and it was said: Ibn Adi bin Habib Al-Imam Abu Uthman Al-Mazin is Mazen bin Shayban bin Dahhal, and it was said: He is a mawla. ... It is known by educated children, and most of the works in the science of grammar are accompanied by the science of morphology, and we will mention a summary of it, God willing, and the explanation of success is useful in its purpose, but it is not famous, and it is by Hussam al-Din al-Saghnafi, the commentator on al-Hidaya, and you will know its translation, and the summary of Nuzhat al-Tarf fi the science of morphology by al-Maydani, as well as in Miftah al-Saada, we quoted it faithfully.
