Sample Text Chapter Thirteen: On the Virtue of Common Deeds and Sayings The hadiths are separate and there are fifteen types. The first type is Muadh bin Jabal. He said: I was with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a journey, and one day I became close to him while we were walking. I said, “O Messenger of God, tell me about a deed that will enter me into Paradise and keep me away from Hell.” He said, “You have asked me about a great matter, and that it is easy for whomever God makes it easy for him. You worship God and do not associate anything with Him, perform prayer, pay zakat, and fast.” Ramadan... - Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan said while he was on the pulpit, O people, there is no one who withholds what God has given him, and there is no giver of what he withholds, and the earnest person does not benefit from it. So whoever God wants good for, He gives him understanding of the religion... So he thanked God, then praised him, then said, “And after that, by God, I give to the man and leave the man, and the one I pray to is more beloved to me than the one who gives... By God, I do not like to have red camels with the word of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari... Part twenty-four has been completed and is followed by part twenty-five.
