The basmala, the poor servant says his saying, he says, a present tense verb whose origin is saying with the qāf silent and the waw ḍammad, and the ḍamma became heavy on the wāw and was transferred to what came before it, and therefore the inflection on the waw and yā’ appears when what precedes it is sukūn... — ...and for those who pray to them for forgiveness and for those who say, “God suffices us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.” This copy was completed... in the year 1186... at the hands of the despicable... Badr al-Din Abd al-Mu’ti...
