Praise be to God, who has glory and power, and in whose hands is the kingdom and the kingdom... As for what follows, the art of history is one of the arts... I called it the book of lessons, the collection of the subject and the news in the days of the Arabs and Berbers and those who contemporized them among those with the greatest authority... Its issues... This first part was completed with placement and composition before revision and refinement.... Praise be to God alone, it has been completed.
