Bismillah, praise be to God who enlightened the sun of Muhammadan knowledge the hearts of the working scholars and bestowed upon them the virtues and merits, for they are the people of clear virtue... And then the owner of this dill, the dear son and the righteous gold, who has the burning idea and the natural disposition, has lost his faith in deleting it and does not match the seven sir... — ... a great and everlasting greeting. This copy was written by... Ahmad, called Al-Fahmi... in the year 1257... and Sheikh Al-Islam Zakariya referred to above allowed him to narrate it from him, and everything that is permissible to narrate from him is due to his narration of the aforementioned book on the authority of Sheikh Al-Islam Al-Shihab Ibn Hajj on the authority of its author on the date of the twenty-third of Rajab Al-Fard in the year nineteen hundred and nineteen, and he wrote it with the permission of Al-Mu’tabar Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Omar Al-Nashili Al-Shafi’i, ten, God willing, Al-Hadi.
