Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, the most glorious jurist, the wisest scholar, the happiest pasha, my master Idris al-Sarraj. May the peace and mercy of God be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. Then, my master Ahmed responded to us in your letter to support him from what you have pledged to the high side. Know, sir, that his companion, Ahmad ibn Lahsan, has become pardoned by God, and we stood with him to the utmost, and we refrained from his troubles, so we met him. He left it with nothing but a donkey shared between him and his son-in-law equally, and he prevented us from paying the preparations for the funeral of the deceased and the woman’s dowry debt and other things until everyone goes to you, and Aqsa will give you what you want, and listen to their words, as we directed to you Al-Arabi and to Hassan, who was summoned by the guard of the Al-Rawan Hotel, and with love and peace your successor, Aj Hadd bin Al-Ayyashi.
