Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family, the jurist, the best, the best, the most honest, the best, the honorable and noble Pasha, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you, for the best of our master, may God grant him victory. And after the most honorable, your letter arrived commanding us to instruct the sons of the noble, Sidi al-Hasan al-Idrissi, with their cousin, Sidi Abdul Salam bin Abdullah. The lineage came to the honorable law with an olive broom, sir, present to your petitioners. And the most honorable, I read to them your letter. We, the most honorable, complied with your command, and they committed themselves to heading to the city mentioned by the most honorable law, and to service and peace, on the 10th of Jumada 2 in the year 1280 your successor, the Master Muhammad, may God grant him peace.
