Praise be to God alone, our beloved student, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj. May God help you, peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of God Almighty. May God grant him victory. Pay to my master, the highest son of Mawla Al-Salamah, thirty mudds of wheat, and I must bestow it on him, our master. May God accept it from my master. On the 19th of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1256, from your favorite lover, Bin Zakri, may God be kind to him.
