Notes
Praise be to God And may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master and our master Muhammad and his family, our master, the most glorious leader, the happiest president Idris. May peace and God’s mercy be upon you, for the best of our master, may God grant him victory. Then let it be in your honor to know that I searched for the tenths of the grain that remained with Abdul-Jabbar Al-Qulayi about which you wrote to us about preparing it and carrying it to your happy place. So know that I searched for that and found it. Animals, the lords of the aforementioned ten, weak, donkeys and others. Now we would like to please you to be kind to them, and the price of all will reach you quickly. Wheat is twelve ounces per mud, and barley is four ounces, as is the price here. My master’s answer is urgent, and for the love of my master. And peace be upon the 25th of Rajab Al-Fard Al-Haram in the year 1279, according to the permission of Mecca Al-Musawi. May God grant everyone success in what pleases him.
