The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Al-Latif’s rebuke to our Sheikh (...) Sidi Muhammad bin Abdul-Kabir Al-Kattani. God is kind to His servants. He provides whomever He wills. He is the Powerful, the Mighty, the eyes cannot perceive Him, and He perceives the sights, and He is the Kind, the All-Aware. My Lord is kind to whatever He wants.
The end of the manuscript: A word of greeting from a merciful Lord seven times. O God, O Kind to His creation, O Knowing of His creation, be kind to us, O Kind to whatever number you have obtained permission for, and rebuke at the top of every hundred, and peace.
