Praise be to God alone, our lover and the place of our father, the earthly jurist and leader, Mr. Al-Tayeb Al-Bayaz. May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then our Lord, may God help him, commands you to pay to the temporary home of the son of my master, Sayyid Abd al-Rahman al-Jinan, ten measures of wheat, and to the jurist, Sayyed Ali al-Gharbawi al-Qadari, also ten measures, pay it to his house. Peace be upon you on the 5th of Rabi’ al-Awwal al-Nabawi in the year 1254 Muhammad bin Idris. May God be kind to him
