Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our master the most glorious jurist, the most glorious Pasha, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you in the presence of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And then we inform you, sir, that the man who was soon imprisoned there, his pure Arabic name, broke the call of the Sharia. This is his conduct time after time, and we also tell you about him who was reaching the land and you were on the other side in Meknes when he quarreled with them in the previous year regarding the country’s affairs because he was in company with the one who gave ownership of the country. For the latter, and upon him, thanks to you, he does not come out of prison, because this is one time, and I am turning against him until he takes God, and for the service of our master, and peace be upon Sheikh Hadd Qasim Al-Amiri
