Praise be to God for the wages of 112 plasterers, 46 kneaders, 21 servants for plastering the Al-Qarawiyyin minar, 98, building and service for 4/80, 3/7 of the paving stones, individual lambs of wood from the carpentry to enlarge the mentioned minar with the tambourine, a carpenter, and a drainer of 28, and a pound of nails to make the wire windows for the Al-Qarawiyyin alcoves, a package for the pigeons, gathered forty-six shekels and six uqiyah, p. 466. Added to this is a quintal of gypsum from Ibn Shaqroun, gathered above, which was brought out by the two supervisors before the person assigned by God to the responsible supervisor at the time, so that he would share it with the price of the above gypsum on their day in accordance with the honorable command, God named it on the third of Jumada II in the year 1316.
