Notes Praise be to God alone                 and may God’s prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our most beloved earthly student, the most righteous student, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God grant him peace, peace, and God’s mercy in the presence of our Lord, may his victory, glory, and exaltation last. Your letter has been sent to you along with the letter of our Lord, may his glory last, in which he commands us to command the person next to the appointed place to cut firewood for the high side, by God. I have appointed the people of Ayat and Afla, the neighboring countries of Qalaiya, to be with him. The lumbermen were guarded, and they discovered that the lumberjacks wanted firewood from the land of the Zarahnah, so I assigned them to do so as long as they were harvesting firewood on their land. If they wanted to go beyond it, I assigned them to do so as long as they were harvesting firewood on their land. If they wanted to go beyond it, you must speak to the worker of the Zarahnah. And here I have written to our caliph, Nasser, to send with the lumberjacks until he meets them with Ayat and Afla and specifies for them the place where they will be. May peace and love be upon you on the 13th of Jumada 1. In the year 1278            Muhammad bin Ahmed Al-Shibli, may God grant him success
