Notes Praise be to God alone                 and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master and Master Muhammad and his family, our lover and the glory of our most honorable father and the servant of our master, the most distinguished jurist, Sir Idris al-Sarraj, may God protect you, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Master, may God support him. And after we have received the dearest, your letter, we learned from it your safety and your punishment, and I was informed of presenting the information to the Caliph in Al-Zawiya regarding the ten sacrifices, may God bless your presence and this honor and the guidance of the boy you bought with it. Sir Muhammad, may God bless him, and those of the notables of the people of Fez and others whom you live with, for being with the Sharif al-Hadra, and I was extremely pleased with that. Then I presented your letter, Your Excellency the Jurist, after greeting him and greeting him, and he was also pleased and informed of it by the Sharif of Knowledge, whom God called Mubasir, may God support him with that. He called and ordered the Jurist to write the letters in the expression of the place for their landing, so he appointed the great and famous house of Ibn al-Awwad, which is next to the house of Sidi Kaddour Karama. Praise be to God, and I commanded us to our master, may God grant him victory, and he agreed to it. Then The jurist ordered, in the words of one of the worker’s owners, to appoint two guards at the gate of the city. He would monitor their arrival and bring them to the place, and they would not stop while they were asleep, out of honor for their rights. It is necessary to do the duty, on the part and with your love. Written by Muhammad al-Tawdi, he completed the greeting on the 3rd of Sha`ban in the year 1281          hastily                  Muhammad bin al-Madani Bennis, may God be pleased with him.
