| Notes | Praise be to God, the two honorable overseers, the late Sidi al-Mufaddal bin al-Baraka al-Muneim, the late Sidi Idris al-Sarraj al-Andalusi, and the trustworthy merchant, Hajj Ahmed bin the trustworthy merchant, the late Sidi al-Hajj al-Arabi al-Shawwat, testified that they had acquired from the student, the recipient, Sidi Muhammad Bouqaa, all thirty-six riyals of the wages of what he was assigned to receive from the endowments of the Qarawiyyin, in full possession, and they were freed from their aforementioned possession alone, and on the 23rd of Qa’dah al-Haram in the year 1314. |
