The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to the Lord of the Muhammads, and prayers and peace be upon the Master of all Hamid and upon his glorious family and companions, the Jewels of the Necklaces. After he asked the poor Muhammad Hussein al-Miqati al-Maliki of Alexandria, the distinguished al-Kamil Abd al-Qadir, called Ibn Abd Allah ibn Mustafa ibn Abd al-Qadir al-Musharrafi al-Ghurisi al-Hasani al-Maghribi, permission to read Sahih al-Bukhari.
