Praise be to God alone, our beloved earthly pasha, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, we have received your answer regarding the book of Al-Fakher, Mr. Ahmed Al-Khidr Al-Salawi, which we addressed to you, and we learned what you mentioned in it and what you answered with about the issue of the Dhimmi Al-Dabdoubi, and we received his letter to you with the acknowledgment of Qaddour bin Bouazza of his caliphate over the Barnes, and we ask you to release him and strengthen his support, which is contrary to what our master, may God help him, answered with regarding the fact that his caliph is Ibn Abdul Aziz. (Amputation) Ibn Abd al-Aziz brought us another letter that he wrote to him that deserves to arrest the aforementioned Qaddur, and he says to him in it that the honorable (Amputation) is in it, and he said to him in it, “You are the one responsible and the imitator, so judge with your consideration on all of them.” To our master, may God grant him victory, so he ordered the writings to him on this contradiction between these letters and commanded him to clarify what is meant, and he responded to the dhimmi al-Dabdoubi with what I answered, and in addition, the dhimmi and the storehouse complained, so he asked for proof from al-Hajji, as he called on him to come. With it and until now it has not returned, and here we have returned the letter and letter that was addressed to us and with love and peace on the 6th of Rabi’ al-Nabawi in the year 1283 Muhammad Al-Saffar, may God grant him success.
