The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, his family, and his companions. The Sheikh, the learned Imam, Hujjah al-Kamil, said (...) Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Masoud Al-Fassi (...) Praise be to God who made the paths leading to Him equal to the number of breaths of creation, and preferred the Shadhili path over all other paths and beautified the heavens of their hearts (...) As for what follows, some loved ones for God’s sake who have a connection to the love of the Shadhili Sadat and their path asked me about anything. I preferred.
The end of the manuscript: Praise be to Him first and last, beginning and ending, and I thank Him who knows nothing in existence other than the worshiped King, that He favored us with the completion of this message and made me serve this path and made me one of those who hovered around His side (...) May God grant me and the people of my love success in the work (...) It ended and was blessed with goodness at the hands of the poorest of slaves Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Masoud bin Abdul Rahman bin Uqba Al-Madaghri Al-Hajji of the Al-Fassi Al-Shazli tribe (...)
