Praise be to God alone, our master, the Pasha, the eminent jurist, Sir Muhammad bin Talib. May God bless your friend, and peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory and support. We have reached your dearest matter, forced into it by the courtiers of the most famous guardian, Sir Muhammad bin Daoud. He is at the master’s house, Hajj Muhammad bin Makhlouf. I see his watch. This is coming to him. We will get it from him and we will save it for its price. I will inform you, God willing, and love and peace, on the 13th of Fatih 1278. Al-Tahami is a keeper of God’s kindness to him
