The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) He said (...) Omar bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jaznai (...) Praise be to God alone (...) As for what follows, I had put an explanation on the systems he organized in the making of conciliations, but it was lost, and now I am making an explanation of the aforementioned systems in brief (...) and the first of the mentioned systems is Praise be to God, the Conciliator, the Wise, and then His blessings be upon the Noble Guide (...).
End of manuscript: Based on this, it was concluded. It has ended, and the discussion of the systems has been completed, and praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds (...) There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great. It was written in Fez, 20 Rajab in the year 1323.
