The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) He said (...) Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Muhammad, Sibt Al-Mardini, may God bless him in his mercy. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... This is a treatise on the Mujib Quarter containing an introduction and twenty chapters. The introduction is in naming His drawings, the first of which is the center, which is the firmness in which is the thread.
End of the manuscript: The completed chapter twenty on knowledge of working with the planets. Take the dimension of the planet as the denominator of the sun’s inclination, and extract the hour of its rising and setting, as well as its height, which has no zenith... If the remainder is equal to the portion of dawn, then the beginning of the time of dawn is in the middle, and God knows best. Praise be to God without end
