The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. And may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family. The servant says (...) Abdullah bin Abdul Razzaq Al-Uthmani, may God Almighty have mercy on him with his blessings. Praise be to God, great in His blessings. *** The caller to the servants to enter Paradise. May God’s prayers be upon our Master *** Muhammad, what a blessing he bestowed upon us. His family, people of piety and glory. *** And his companions, people loyal to the Covenant. التقييدروى السيوطي الرضى الحبر الهمام *** ما صح بالإسناد عن خير الأنام.
The end of the manuscript: Whoever lives as an ally for the people *** dies as a martyr of the people’s choice *** on the authority of Ali al-Murtada al-Makkin *** on the authority of the chosen and trustworthy Prophet *** whoever dies in an unjust prison *** or dies from being beaten without a roof is a martyr who was singled out for care *** and here the narrative ends.
