Praise be to God, the Superintendent of Al-Qarawiyyin and the Mosques at the time, the two best and trustworthy students, Sidi Muhammad Al-Mufaddal Al-Sarraj and Sir Al-Hajj Ahmed Al-Sharat, bear witness that they obtained from the honorable student, the recipient, Sidi Muhammad Ibn Al-Sharif, the late Sidi Muhammad Ibn Sidi Al-Madani Al-Iraqi Al-Hasani, of what was appointed for him to receive from the provision of the aforementioned imprisonment, according to his graduation of all seven with a unit of twenty riyals, full possession in kind, and his release from their possession mentioned in it, they knew its value, which was attested to them in its entirety. He recognized them and their erection on the twenty-seventh of Muharram al-Haram, the conqueror of the year fifteen hundred and three hundred and a thousand. The schools are authentic.
