Praise be to God alone, our lover and servant of our earthly master and leader, Muhammad ibn Talib. Peace be upon you and may God’s mercy be upon you for the good of our master, may God grant him victory. We have received your card informing us of your possession of the lamb from Al-Hayek, which was found outside with it secretly at the gate of the city, and your giving it to the tithe secretaries, and your directing the animal that was found being carried on it to the storehouse. It has arrived, and our master, may God support him, saw your card, so he said, work on this, and peace be upon him on the 21st of Muharram of the year. 1274 Muhammad Al-Saffar, may God grant him success
