Praise be to God alone, the scholar, Sidi Abd al-Wahid ibn al-Mawaz, after peace and mercy, on the authority of the best of our Lord al-Muzaffar with the victory of God, we received the worker’s letter including Anam al-Saktiwi, so he paid for what he had left of provisions. The jurist added his permission to give that to the son of the jurist, so he gave him until tomorrow. After that, he did not pay, but rather made a mistake in saying, and I heard from him that I do not fear the worker or anyone else, and today they brought a rein that is not accepted from him by law or by nature, because we have spoken to him about what he has paid yet. He received the month's supplies and its amount was between oil, soap, and white. And in 4, he had 68 of them left. He did not pay any of them, and he did not hand over the boy and the reins, nor what he numbered on it. He said, “That was when he was in charge of capturing the lake, and he will be held accountable, God willing, and he will write down what he wants, and looking at the one who gives, which God Almighty said about them, then if you pay, etc., he was keen to take possession and nothing else. Etc. Now consult the jurist, the worker of our kindness, to determine that he should give the provisions, since they are in dire need of them, and he says to him: This is not appropriate for you, or what appears to him, but here I am, the ultimate goal of their favor with this affliction, and I have done what I was obligated to, and what I fled before, and upon love and peace. May his Lord grant him good rest.
