Notes Praise be to God, for the permission of the one whom it is necessary, may God protect him and guide him, according to the tongue of Aoun al-Sharia, the obedient al-Wadghairi, his two martyrs, may God protect them. They went to a house in the town of Rumaila, and they found a man inside a house in the aforementioned house, lying down, groaning in pain, his clothes stained with blood, and on the left side of his head there was a wound as large as two fingertips, bleeding. He was asked who did that to him, and he mentioned that Ali bin al-Rabh al-Hayani al-Matba’ur had come to him, and with him was another man straying to his lake in al-Hijr. In the farms of Al-Hajj’s children, there is something in her hand, and when he rose with them, they prevailed upon him and beat him with the described beating in the form of premeditation and aggression, and that if God Almighty decreed that he should die before his righteousness was made clear, then they are the ones who will take his blood and the one who will benefit from it. So whoever inspects him in the aforementioned place in the described condition and understands from him what he described, he described him as a quarter of an Arab, with a bare face, and tied him up from the aforementioned permission, may God honor him on the second of Dhul-Hijjah in the year seventy-four, in the month of one hundred and two thousand.
