Praise be to God alone, our earthly lover, Al-Blessing Al-Murtada, Abu Abdullah, Sidi Muhammad Ibn Al-Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God support him. The whale weighed twenty-eight hundred mithqals on a quarter man. We asked him to bring the price, and he said he would bring it. Peace be upon you, 30 Jumada Al-Thani in the year 1277.
