The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God. Sheikh (...) Abu Abdullah Sidi Al-Hajj Muhammad bin Ahmad Banis was asked (...) according to what he said. We ask our master to bless us with an explanation of the words of Ibn Ghazi in the chapter on parsing and construction when he spoke about the types of similitude. It is what he stated and went beyond the requirement of similitude. The text of the answer is: Praise be to God alone, and may God’s prayers and peace be upon our master and our Lord Muhammad, his family and companions (...). As for any, it is used interrogatively.
The end of the manuscript: The Lām, so the Hā was made silent because it replaced what was silent verbally, and they based it on the fatḥah based on where and how, because it included the meaning of the letter of exclamation, and God Almighty knows best, and the servant of his Lord, the Majestic and Most High, wrote, Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad Bannis. May God be his guardian and helper and for all Muslims, Amen.
