Praise be to God for the rent for two builders, 2/148, and a service of 4/142, and a tool and a carpenter with 64 apprentices, and nails 20 for a pound and a half, between thin and thick, and a bank of 28, and spreading threads of 49, and individual loads of wood 2, which gathered what was opposite it 464, and added the individual price of barda wood and lime bridges 5 loads for him to cover his al-Qarawiyyin hermitage and repair the bricks on its opposite wall in the office of the Sidi Abdel Majid Hotel and work. The windows for the al-Qarawiyyin niches were expelled from the above-mentioned floors of pigeons, other than the price of the residence above, amounting to forty-six mithqals and four uqiyahs. It was brought out by the two eminent overseers, Sidi Muhammad al-Mufaddal al-Sarraj and Sayyid al-Hajj Ahmad al-Sharat, to the overseers of al-Qarawiyyin at the time, to hand it to the hand of the one who set it aside, as mentioned, in Sidi Muhammad ibn al-Habib, and to put it in their journal with the price of the residence above, in accordance with the above honorable order, may God decree it on the tenth of Jumada al-Thani in the year 1316.
