Praise be to God alone, our earthly lover, the dearest, the most honorable, the jurist, Mr. Idris. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. I know that the merchant Hajj El-Tohamy Bennani bought for us a small servant for the jurist, the master, for a price of 1840. We love you, be considerate of him, and do your best to work hard on him, because he was with them at home for a period of time. We returned him to communicate with his Lord, and when he reached this price, and when they looked after him and were satisfied with him, we taught you that and for your love. And peace be upon him on the 22nd of Safar in the year 1280 Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Salawi, may God grant him success.
