The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet. This is a blessed supplication. Some people said that the divine sheikh Sidi Ahmed used to pray it (...) It is in the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) The light of Baha has concealed your throne from my enemies. I have concealed myself, and with the power of the tyranny of those who plot against me, I have concealed myself and with great fortitude.
The end of the manuscript: God wrote for him forty thousand good deeds if you wear the clothes of a pious person *** if you strip naked even if you are clothed. The best clothing for a person is obedience to his Lord *** and there is no good in one who belongs to God who is disobedient. I swear by God that everyone who sees my lot wherever I see it will ask for mercy for me in repentance, victory and forgiveness.
