Notes Praise be to God alone, our earthly lover, the student, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him. After Al-Hayyad and the son of the judge who was his lieutenant, they crossed and were asked about selling ghee to Moulay Yacoub, but he denied it. And here we are, with the intention of directing a consultative company tomorrow, God willing, to Moulay Yacoub, so that they may bear witness to the people there about selling ghee and what we hate. If you know who attended that and who bought it, we will show it to the Makhzaniya so that they will have insight into who. They ask, then when our master informed us of the arrest of the two mentioned, he said to us: Was it not the case of these two? We have been informed that they are four, and the remaining two are Muhammad al-Miskini and Burik al-Sarghini. We, may God help him, commanded us to ask you: Did he know about these two remaining ones? Or did you only inform of the two who were arrested? We must order that and the answer is determined and with love and peace on the 2nd of Rabi’ al-Nabawi in the year 1289. Muhammad al-Saffar, may God grant him success, and you did not make it clear. For us, but others told us that he was Al-Omrani Al-Dakali, who belonged to Al-Qaid Ibn Al-Jilani Al-Omrani
