Praise be to God, our dearest lover, the most learned jurist, and servant of our most honorable and leader, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj, may God protect you and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the good of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, my master, Moulay Belkacem the Sicilian, we were safe with him, dirhams, the number of riyals, for the sake of preservation and safety. These are years past, and when we asked for them from him, they became equivalent to holidays, an apology, and paying something, and he had something left that is shown in the drawing, and we promised the rest that his son would pay us, and these are two years and I have been waiting. We paid him, but he did not arrive, so we love you. God and His Messenger loved you. You asked him to pay our money. He owed it and we had it. May God bless us with you and love and peace on 09 Shawwal in the year 1284 Al-Talib bin Ali, may God grant him success.
