Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, in the place of our earthly father, Al-Pasha Al-Murtada, a servant of the highest station in God, the jurist, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May God bless you and grant you peace and help in what He has given you. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our Master, may God grant him victory. As for the sheep that you commanded us to return to the Meccan equal, as it was proven to you that they belonged to the son-in-law of Al-Qaid Al-Shibli and you believed him after we verified them, Lahman Al-Majati is not... The matter is like this, and you told us why you asked him to return the animals, so here we gave him what we had of sheep, so he sent us back from my master. As for him not being able to return the animals, you conspired with the sheikh of the raiders and their group to give us the cows that they had taken for us and they still have them, and we have lynched our necks over him. May God bless you and keep you useful to us, advancing for the sake of the Prophet and his family and peace. On the 6th of Sha’ban 1281, Muhammad bin Idris Al-Amiri May God grant him success
