The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, and in the handwriting of Sheikh Al-Kawashi, among the permissions that our sheikh gave me from his sheikhs, the text of which is after the basmalah and the prayer (...) As for what follows, praise be to God, and may blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of God, the dearest son, Abu Abdullah Muhammad, the son of our brother, Sheikh Imam Sidi Abdul Qadir Al-Mishrafi.
End of the manuscript: I have approved of him in all that is attributed to his mastery, and his narration has become famous for me, and I have authorized him to teach this to Muslims. May God bless everyone’s succession, and I am the poor Saleh bin Hussein Al-Kawashi, may God forgive him. Oh.
