Notes	Praise be to God. You sent us a letter from Mr. Abdullah Ibn Ahmad mentioning in it that he allocates for the sacrifice of horses a pair of saddlebags for each one. He said the number of that is two metres, and ten. He did not mention the fifty-two that we sent another, and perhaps they were not received. He said that the carrier is sufficient for what is specified, and the carrier said that it is specified. The two smāts have three smāts, so five hundred and twenty-four were combined in the number of smāts, and seven hundred and eighty-six in the smāt were combined, and here they all join you with the bearer, and we only did what we did according to the example given from Meknes, and peace is the cradle of Qādah 78 The Trustees, may God be kind to them Praise be to God, the Most Loving Jurist, the most honorable Sayyed Abdullah bin Ahmad, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him. And after that, the Trustees, we informed them of your nobility in the matter. Concerning of the authorities, they answered with the ruler above, and they facilitated everyone, and it is under hand until it appears with whomever We send, and I will come to you and direct it, and with love and peace in the history above.
