Notes
Praise be to God alone, our lover, the jurist, the eternal and earthly leader, Mr. Muhammad ibn Talib, peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God bless him and grant him peace. It is no secret from you that we are not indebted to pay the proceeds of what is in the debts of the merchants in terms of taxes and taxes. Since our master, may God help him, entered this presence, we have been writing to the trustees through you, and we, the twelve thousand and three hundred and ninety-odd, have not received anything from them, especially..... Al-Arayesh only, and the matter was clear to us due to what was under our hands. The money of Al-Araesh and Tetouan, and now here we are, we have determined what we get from them to the happy one, and to issue the cards to them with what is presented to us of competing according to the custom, in order to make things easier for them for the payer and the one who takes them, especially the increase that is happening today in Rojan Al-Sikka. Accordingly, he commanded them to implement what he receives from our cards, such as this link. Here you are, his companions, and at the end of each month, our accounting with them will be based on our cards. Peace be upon the 13th of Jumada Al-Thani in the year 1274, trustees. Al-Sayer, may God grant them success
